Engineering Development and DEsign
This course is the capstone of the program, offered only to seniors. If you're in it, congratulations, you've survived the journey we call Project Lead the Way. Engineering Development and Design (EDD) is ALWAYS taken in your senior year, and is focused two things; your final project and your future. You can pick a team or elect to work alone on a senior project, displaying any and all skills you have picked up on the way, and points are also given for finding and applying to scholarships and schools.

"The knowledge and skills students acquire throughout PLTW Engineering come together in EDD as they identify an issue and then research, design, and test a solution, ultimately presenting their solution to a panel of engineers. Students apply the professional skills they have developed to document a design process to standards, completing EDD ready to take on any post-secondary program or career."
