Computer Integrated manufacturing
This course is one of the elective courses you can take on the four year journey called Project Lead the Way. Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) is usually taken in your third or fourth year, and is focused on the ability to process plans as well as carry said plans out and turn a digital model into a real model. Yes, it is the course where you get to play with all the cool toys-er, 'tools' like the printers and the robotic arm.

"Manufactured items are part of everyday life, yet most students have not been introduced to the high-tech, innovative nature of modern manufacturing. This course illuminates the opportunities related to understanding manufacturing. At the same time, it teaches students about manufacturing processes, product design, robotics, and automation. Students can earn a virtual manufacturing badge recognized by the National Manufacturing Badge system."
